Presentation:

For this fourth edition, the Centre de Danse du Marais has decided to open the Choreography Competition to all dance disciplines to represent all styles, from the most classic to the most modern.

Prizes awarded by the public (by vote on parisdanse.com. Winners must be present at the awards ceremony on June 6th) :

First place : 1800€ + 60 dance lessons at the Centre de Danse du Marais
Second place : 900€ + 40 dance lessons at the Centre de Danse du Marais
Third place : 300€ + 20 dance lessons at the Centre de Danse du Marais


The pre-selected choreographies wil be shown online on Paris-Danse.com

Contest rules :

Contest admission is free.
The competition is open to everyone; dance groups or duos.
Minimum age to participate : 16 years old (parental authorisation is necessary)
Pre-selection by video (myspace/youtube/dailymotion) starts December 10th, 2010.
The video link should be sent to this email address before March 15th, 2011.
The video should not be more than 10 minutes.
The three winners of the Public Prize will be chosen by public vote on Paris-Danse.com. The Jury Prize is chosen by the teachers at the Centre de Danse du Marais.

Close of admissions.

April 1, 2011

The 12 chosen choreographies are put online on Paris-Danse.com and the vote is open to the public.
May 30th, 2011

The end of online voting.

June 1st, 2011

Results are announced.

June 6th, 2011

Awards ceremony 25 & 26th of June in the prestigious Cirque d'Hiver.
